CONSONANTS


A consonant letter usually represents one consonant sound, but it is not always.


EXPLICATION ABOUT SOME CONSONANTS

1)  Consonant /p/

This consonant pronounces with your mouth close, you need to have your lips together and when you open breathe the air, you can produce an explosion. This effect is stronger than in Spanish.

2)  Consonant /b/

It is a consonant that when you say, you make and feel a sound or vibration in your vocal cords.


Watch that the vocal cords vibrate for /b/


3) Consonant /s/

This consonant is so similar to Spanish and the pronunciation too.

Consonant /z/ has a vibration when you pronounce and the best representation is the zebra:

VOWELS


1.  Vowel /ɔː/

This phoneme represent the form of your mouth and is long because has a dot, the best example is the horse, because has an excellent and correct drawn in its mouth. Is similar to Spanish when you say /o/ but is long, you pronounce with your lips open. This is a long vowel sound.

For example:
